As he knows very well, and I suspect Darryly guessed but wilfully ignored,
my agreement with Darren was with the 2nd half of his post, not the 1st. He
knows I would never concur with "promised land" in describing a country
whose most notable cultural exports have been Neighbours and Sir Les
Patterson and which has more varieties of killer spider than the rest of the
world put together.
