Why not use the LocalDb install of SQL Server? Link is left-bottom here:

Does anyone know how to package up sql server lite for distribution and installation?  If I start to write an unbound framework, writing it against SQL Server Express is the optimum scenario.  The reader will not necessarily have SQL Server installed already.
