Since it hasn't been mentioned yet on this thread, perhaps because everyone
is already using it, but just in case not, I feel compelled to mention
MZ-Tools <http://mztools.com>, an add-in for the Office suite, but
primarily for Access developers, which is freeware. There's also a version
for Visual Studio which is not free, but very reasonably priced. I consider
the Access version indispensable -- so much so that when from time to time
I am up for a contract with some firm or governmental arm, one of my first
questions involves the use of MZ-Tools (some outfits don't permit such use
of 3rd-party stuff); I consider that policy asinine, and a deal-breaker.

The reason I mention it is that a lot of the things you might wish to do
with the objects in an Access app are already included in MZ-Tools.
