Thanks for the information...will check out the app as in many cases, if it is a worthy product, some bright young hackers will resolve the Linux dependencies.

I've been using: SourceTree with my Windows / Mac projects it's been very
simple to use and keep things organized... it doesn't seem to offer a linux
version which is really odd since there is a Mac version :(
