Bob (very kindly) posted to give me a number which I can use for an Access form
object (or form back colour). eg. RGB(255,153,0)
gives me the no. 39423. But if use that no. as the form back colour, I still
don't get a clear colour (Same with several I have tried).

Re: [AccessD] Form custom back colours

Sounds like good advice. But what
*are* those 256 Windows colors in terms of Access? The Access grid offers a
6 x 8 grid of basic colours, giving a total of 48. Anything else created
within that window is a 'custom' colour and in my experience, will not
display clearly while the Windows setting remains at 256 colours. Why is
that? And what do you other developers do with your form colour?
