I am looking at the use of replication to keep several users</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">synchronized</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"></FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">on a really slow network plus be able to synchronize lap tops when they dial in. I got interested in this method after reading Arthur Fuller's article</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">in</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"></FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">"Inside Microsoft Access</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">", March edition. </FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">I also read the chapter in the ADH on replication</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> to get additional information</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">. </FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">What I have been trying to determine is can I distribute the Replication Manager tool that comes with the Developer Edition with my database. It seems like this is the easiest way to set up the replication and synchronization schedule on the users</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">system</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">. I found an article on the web for access 97 that seems to indicate that Replication Manager is distributable but nothing on XP and have found</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">nothing</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"></FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">in any of my XP literature of help files.</FONT></SPAN></P>
