Funny, I've been more or less stating it that way for years and never thought
anyone would check them all. NO you you only need to do it with ONE
reference to force the reference cleanup. Your just trying to get the list
to change. Just as easily, you could uncheck one reference and then
recheck it.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<P>Is it really necessary to check them ALL to do this 'kick-in-the-pants"

<DIV></DIV>>Ray,
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>> As Charlotte said, it's a broken reference. However in some
cases, they
<DIV></DIV>>may not be listed as "missing" or "broken". If that is the
case, open up
<DIV></DIV>>tools/references, check any reference that is not checked, then
close the
<DIV></DIV>>MDB and Access. Reopen Access and the MDB and uncheck the
reference you
<DIV></DIV>>just checked. This forces Access to refresh the reference
information. Do
<DIV></DIV>>a compile save all and everything should be OK.

<DIV></DIV>> When I open a database on a pc running Access 97, the
following errors
<DIV></DIV>>message came out and
<DIV></DIV>> failed in opening.

<DIV></DIV>> The report name 'rptScoreOfAllFactories' you entered is
misspelled or

<DIV></DIV>> The program opened correctly in the past but suddenly it
happened today.
<DIV></DIV>>Same
<DIV></DIV>> program opens correctly on other pcs. Can someone encountered
similar

<DIV></DIV>> share with your fixes to me.
