<DIV></DIV>>As you have quickly learned, listboxes don't always like being overlayed...
<DIV></DIV>>either move it to somewhere else or make it invisible in the section of code
<DIV></DIV>>that makes the subform become visible.

<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Hi folks,
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>I have an XP app that is giving me the business. Bound form with a
<DIV></DIV>>tabcontrol for various memo fields. A list box with a separate data source
<DIV></DIV>>(query of another table related to bound form recordsource) An invisible
<DIV></DIV>>subform which is the same data as the mainform but in a more 'Excel-like'
<DIV></DIV>>display. When they request to see the data as presented by the invisible
<DIV></DIV>>form I make it visible (Ta Dah!) It overlays some of the controls and the
<DIV></DIV>>listbox is one of them. The listbox refuses to be overlayed...it floats on
<DIV></DIV>>top of the subform. I have played with everything I can think of - including
<DIV></DIV>>deleting the control and compacting and repairing, then re-creating the
<DIV></DIV>>control. It still floats on top (super-annoying) -I checked for requeries of
<DIV></DIV>>the listbox. I checked taborders and remnant code, there are no repaints or
<DIV></DIV>>restore commands.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Interestingly, I cannot get the listbox to 'move to back' nicely...it
<DIV></DIV>>flickers but stays on top of the Box it sits on - none of the other controls
<DIV></DIV>>act this way. Also, if I maximize the form...it doesn't misbehave...but
<DIV></DIV>>that, of course, is NOT the solution......???
<DIV></DIV>>Thanks,
<DIV></DIV>>
