would execute a stored procedure to do that. The SQL in the sproc
would be similar to an update query in access. Looks in BOL for a
sample of a SQL server update query. Let me know if you don't know how

size=2>AFAIK you cannot update such a view from an ADP file. Since it is
grouped the best you can do (with work) is update the GroupBy fields. Of
course you can do it behind the scenes with a SQL statement but not from
