[BEU-Support] Can't add OLE Object field?

Thanks Andy and Reuben for your replies.  I wasn't sure that anyone was
monitoring the forum.  And yes, I REALLY like BEU!!

I've been digging into the forms and code a little and I tried adding the
OLE Object choice to the frmDBASub_FieldAdd!cboType, with value 11.  Then I
added a new Version/Mod, selecting this choice but I got an error in
beuDBAfieldadd when I tried the update.

So obviously there is more to it than just adding the choice.  Other than
the more obvious UI mods that I need (hiding Size, Format, etc. on the
form), if you can direct me to the functions that I would need to work on,
I'd be keen to have a go.  And if I make it work, I'll send you the mods to
incorporate into the next release - if there is one ;).

(BTW - is the forum only available via the Archive page,

Well the only reason it's not there is that we had to draw a line somewhere
so we could get a version out. We could add this as a v2 request, but to be
perfectly frank there's no saying there'll be a v2 soon if ever. As
volunteers working long distance and trying to fit in free work with our day
jobs it was a struggle. A well worthwhile one which we all got a lot out of,
but I'm not sure we'd all be up for a second dose.

So if you can't live without it and want to have a go at implementing it in
your copy feel free, and we'd love the code when you're done. And if you'd
like some pointers as to what needs altering come back to us and we can
probably do that too.

Anyway, nice to hear from another user. Hope you like BEU despite the OLE
omossion.
