[dba-SQLServer] 'manipulate' DTS package outcome

Hi group,

I've got a dts package in SQL Server2K.
All steps are linked via Workflow.
Somewhere an Excel sheet is filled using a query. If
the query doesn't return any data (very often) the DTS
package 'flows' to the failed workflow.

Is it possible to change the outcome of the DTS
package to Success?

If not, how can I catch the error (no data found) and
make the the outcome of the DTS package to Success?
