Well, yes and no.  I can do that by new / view and not save the view.  The
biggest problem is that things time out in EM whereas they don't in QA.

If you right click on a table in EM and select Open-->Query, you can build
and test a query on the fly without saving it as a view.  Does that help?

Is there a QBE tool in query analyzer?  I am having to go create a view to
use the qbe grid there, then cut and paste the sql into the query analyzer.
