In that case.

If you use HashBytes('MD5'.........), you get back a 128 bit (16
byte) hash (aka Message Digest) which is usually represented as a string of
32 hex digits f you use HashBytes('SHA1'.........), you get back a 160 bit
(20
byte)  hash which is usually represented as 40 hex digits
