It's called MySQLGame (www.mysqlgame.com). It's a sort of battleship game where one row represents targets and that you hit by writing queries. All your moves are queries. The colleague in question is something of a Linux guru but is pretty new to MySQL. He is using the game to learn how to write queries. I haven't played it yet; I've just now visited the site. Looks like another excellent time-waster :) -- Arthur From fhtapia at gmail.com Wed Aug 13 09:01:22 2014 From: fhtapia at gmail.com (Francisco Tapia) Date: Wed, 13 Aug 2014 07:01:22 -0700 Subject: [dba-SQLServer] MySQLGame In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: note, depending on your administrator, this site maybe blocked as a "game" which it is, sort of? -Francisco On Wed, Aug 13, 2014 at 6:32 AM, Arthur Fuller wrote: > A colleague just pointed me at a site I've not previously heard of. I'd consider the hours invested as off-clock research. A.
