Yes, I just did a test, and T-SQL's CheckSum works great. Very handy.

I'm  HUGE Fan of PTQs. I don't think you're going to need any fancy VBA code
to do this -- unless I'm mistaking your intent. On the Back End, create an
SP that accepts a variety of optional parameters. Then ether create a new
PTQ or modify a template PTQ and pass in the values of interest.
