[dba-Tech] OT: Compaq vs. Dell

...I have a number of Poweredge 2600's and have had no problem with
integrating third party h/w ...I'm guessing this was a combo of a less than
technically savvy end-user and Dell's old Indian tech support which was
horrible on its best days, but that's just a wag of course ...as noted
previously Dell has recently moved all small business/corporate support back
to the states ...I used them when upgrading server memory recently and found
them to be more than satisfactory.
