[dba-Tech] UPS Monitoring software

I'm looking for UPS monitoring software which will work across a network. 
 
I need it to monitor another machine which has a UPS on it and shutdown the
hosting PC when the other machine detects a power outage.
 
I have one big UPS where the main PC is and it communicates with the PC. the
other PCs are plugged into UPSs that don't communicate with the PC and would
like them all to shut down when the big one tells them to. They're all APC
unit and APC PowerChute Business edition recognizes them but they apparently
have their software crippled to not allow this with lower cost units. Their
tech support said it won't work with those lower cost units. Measly $200
UPSs - what are they good for?! ;o)
 
Any ideas?
