Maxtor are about the only drives I've not had die on me... I've lost
Seagates (had three DOA), IBM's, WD and Fujitsu... Maxtor's are all I've
bought for the last 5 years for me, for work, and for other people. These
are all IDE/SATA drives, for servers at work we HAVE to use the HP SCSI
drives.

Ewww. I always hated Maxtor. Lost a drive walking across the room
once... didn't drop it or anything, just walking, and the motor went
out.

Perhaps they'll keep their production lines seperate... we can only hope.
