I'll second the APC line.  Not the most inexpensive, but great customer
service.  If you are going to connect other costly items to the UPS, I'd try
and get one that has AVR (automatic voltage regulation) on it.  Some of the
APC towers look nice and are relatively thin.

I have only the PC on this so that I can get a better run time
Monitor, router, printers: APC Back-UPS Pro 1100 (can't find on APC site

HDTV: A belkin 800 or 1000VA UPS with AVR (got a good price on this).

APC (http://www.apcc.com) are one of big player on this side of the
pond. I don't have any personal experience with them, but a friend of
mine has one and recommends them.
