[dba-Tech] Ruby on Rails

Is anyone here besides me interested in this?

After having built a couple of 10-table apps, I'm ready to move on, and I
notice that the Scaffold stuff, although it can read the db and deduce the
realationships among tables (given the restrictive naming scheme, which as
it happens I already adhere to), the scaffolding doesn't seem to recognize
the extended properties stuff in MS-SQL at least. This is the equivalent to
filling in the Lookup tab in Access with combo-box, data source = MyQuery,
etc.) RoR doesn't seem to be able to read the db this deeply, which is
unfortunate. Or maybe I'm missing how to set up these column-definitions.

Anyone have any experience/insight/offerings on this topic?
