The first part is easy, that's in tools, options, email options. The
first line of that says "After moving or deleting an open item:" and
gives you a choice of things to do, open the next item, open the
previous item or return to inbox.

As for the second, I don't have a copy of 2003 near me, so I can't play
to find out. I'll have a look when I get home if no-one's fixed it for
you.

Subject: [dba-Tech] Outlook 2003 questions

I have upgraded from Outlook 2000 to 2003. In 2000 if I opened an email
and deleted it the next email would open, a behavior that makes it easy
to read threads. In 2003 when I delete the email it dumps me back into
the inbox. How can I configure Outlook 2003 to open the next email the
same as 2000 did? Also, when I set up my email accounts in 2003 they
receive the email from all accounts into one inbox. How do I get Outlook
to receive email from separate accounts into separate inboxes?
TIA
Jim Hale
