[dba-Tech] Laptop and Norton

I have to really, really like somebody to work on their computer. And
I will tell them even then that I will have a quick look and then give
them my feeling on if it is within my capabilities and time
availability to fix it or if they need to take it to the shop. Both my
brother and brother-in-law now usually take their computers directly
to the shop before even asking me anymore. SUCCESS! I've trained them!
 ;-)

They usually will ask me for an opinion on what is the problem. But
since I live an hour or 2 away from each of them, they know it could
be weeks before I would be able to look at it in person. And now I
have convinced them to buy some current hardware too instead of making
due with the old boat anchor stuff they had been using. That helped
solve a lot of problems.
