You could try check the 'Run' folders and setting in your Regedit. Check the
following site out for how to access these parameters

PS But before that, turn off your computer and attach a ROUTER between the
modem and your computer. (My son-in-law had his new XP installation hacked
in less than half an hour after he started it up without a Router attached.)

Okay, I know that while hi-jacked, the hi-jackers can follow what I do. What
happens if I open the browser, reclaim my homepage, close and reopen? It's
opening to the homepage I want, not the hi-jack page, so am I still
hi-jacked or not? It stays that way until I reboot the system, and then the
hi-jack reclaims my browser.
