Nice list. I think you're correct MS got this right. One other feature that hasn't been touted a lot but is very nice is that Windows (Media Player) is now DLNA compliant. This allows it to share libraries with any DLNA device.
My Sony TV is DLNA compliant so I will now be able to eliminate a slew of
(glitch) software it takes to play videos, show pictures and play music from my computer on my TV.
