[dba-Tech] Why is IE6 still here?

Hi Jim,

From personal experience, I can tell you that in probably most places in Asia you can walk into any IT shop and buy a DVD that contains a copy of Windows, several software packages like Photoshop etc, and a few fun games all for the price of $20 or less. Then you need to factor in Windows Genuine Advantage (therefore, no Windows Updates).

Saying that, it wouldn't be a whole lot different here, if it weren't for the enforcement of the Windows tax into the price of buying new hardware.

A hilarious case in point: You can even find fake Apple stores -> http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-14503724
