Hi John:

That was well said.

There is no point in being a fanboz or fanatics. Every problem has a
solution but not necessarily from the same product.

I'm not anti-apple. I'm just not pro apple.
I don't care for iOS as it irks me with some of the things it can't do. I
like doing a few things on an iPad but I prefer doing almost everything on
an Android tablet. I think Steve Jobs was very capable of leading and
directive some of the brightest most creative people in the industry. We
nitpick everything else to death on these lists but wow, say one thing
negative about apple and all of a sudden it's a tempest? I searched for
"safari on windows" but alas I did it from their search box since it is
their site and I had no idea it was a support issue. Wow, now I can add
that Apple has to rely on Google's search to find their own products. Steve
is rolling again.

I'm not anti-Google. I'm just not pro Google.
Android generally works good. It has some irritating things about it also. I
think that's why they have "new versions of it". I rub my GSIII's abilities
in my Mac-head nephew's face all the time ;-)

I'm not anti-Microsoft. I'm not pro Microsoft.
I make most of my income from or supporting their products. I don't care for
their CEO, I don't care for their marketing. Windows irks me all day long.
Until Windows NT 4 was released I hated Windows, it made my life a PITA!
Much of the reason Windows irks me all day long is that it has so much
legacy support built in that it's a hog. That's also one of its benefits.

Life is interesting all the way around. Why does everyone have to be in a
camp?

Wow, for over a decade we were fairly candid on these lists. Guess I'll have
to hold back my colossal criticisms.

How long have you been subscribed?

It's perfectly searchable if you go to Apple support (
http://support.apple.com/kb/index?page=search&src=www_site.more.search&local
e=en_US&q=Safari%20windows ).

Then, of course, you can also find it as the top link in Google, where most
people would probably go to look first.

I know I'm speaking on a very anti-"everything Apple" mailing list, but
isn't this a bit 'Tempest in a teapot'?
