Hi Arthur

My favorite memory supplier, Crucial.com, says yes, a matched pair of 4GB to get the best results. Which of course
they'll sell to you!

Subject: [dba-Tech] Maximum RAM question

I have an old tower computer whose motherboard was recently replaced. The new motherboard is a Gigabyte Technology Co.,
Ltd. M61PME-S2P.

Currently it has 4GB of DDR2 RAM, using the two slots. Is it possible to upgrade this to 8GB (2x4GB)? I run Windows 7
64-bit most often, and Ubuntu now and then.
