[dba-Tech] Routers our weakest link

Hi All:

It seems that many of our routers compromised right from the beginning. The problem is that issues are pointed out but the companies supposedly take action, provide a new firmware and the router is still compromised. The question that has to be asked is is this just poor programming or intentional for some reason?

These backdoor errors seem to affect a number of models of Netgear, Cisco and Linksys.
