I personally also like smaller phone sizes but assuming I'm using my smartphone (Nokia Lumia 800 currently) to read e-mails, browser Internet etc. bigger screen size would be more comfortable. And iPhone 6 Plus has a better battery life - 2 days they say as well as better video recording stabilization...
