You wouldn't want to deprive Microsoft of making a good profit even it costs you? After all they are giving their OS away for free. ;-)

PS. Can you not find a WiFi hotspot in which to connect to?

Yea, unless they are using my PC hitting the internet over my phone 
wifi, where I pay for every byte of data.
