I didn't read the full article so I can't say if they left it out. However,
that setting looked like one of the advanced hidden settings that is mere
mortals after kept away from, so I just googled how to get at those
settings :)

You need to type about:config in the browser bar, then search for the
browser.sessionstore.interval
