[dba-Tech] VPN

More concise results on the first page. Often there is a small sidebar on the right that includes a small description, official download site, etc. And the advertised results are much less deceptive than Google's.
Its easy enough to switch to another with Firefox search so if the results don't cut it one click and I have google or duck's results.
The straw that broke google for me happened a while ago when I had to install chrome on a workstation and Google's too result were all ads that directed me to bogus download sites. The actual chrome download was on the first page but who would've thought their own product was causing people grief to get. I searched with Bing and the official download site was in the side bar synopsis. Fool me once...

Why do you prefer Bing to Google?

Whatever you set it to use in the settings. Default is Bing. Every browser has an option to change the default search engine. I set it to Bing on every browser. If you need google you can always type it, set a bookmark or with Firefox, click the option drop down on the search box.

If you just type a search into the address bar, what engine does it use?

Hi Rocky

Indeed. That's Bing. Works great, contrary to all the bashing it receives.

I'm using Firefox as my browser, now. And Google for search engine.

So you use Edge's search engine?
