Here is a solution......

Disabling Enhanced Tracking Protection for the Ebay website fixed the
problem, thanks

and a second one....

The shield to the left of the web address entry should be checked.   A
message box opens with a toggle on or off option to stop tracking or
turn it on.  If the tracking is on, EBAY doesn't work properly.   The
moment the tracking is turned off EBAY will work properly.  It may
intermittently happen and the toggle will have to be turned off again.
Ebay needs to fix this issue and let users manage their on tracking
without this major hassle!!!  There may be other issues but this is a
fix that has worked for me.  I use latest version 79of firefox....

Disabling Enhanced Tracking Protection for the Ebay website fixed the
problem, thanks

and a second one....

The shield to the left of the web address entry should be checked.   A
message box opens with a toggle on or off option to stop tracking or
turn it on.  If the tracking is on, EBAY doesn't work properly.   The
moment the tracking is turned off EBAY will work properly.  It may
intermittently happen and the toggle will have to be turned off again.
Ebay needs to fix this issue and let users manage their on tracking
without this major hassle!!!  There may be other issues but this is a
fix that has worked for me.  I use latest version 79of firefox....

I tried to change my email address for dba-tech.  Did everything right.  Ended up with two subscriptions with the old email address.  Don't know how I effed that up.  Seemed dead simple.  Sub with new address. Unsub old.

Hi AccessD Tech group!
Anyone using this automation tool from the Office 365 family? I was looking
into it to see if it would help me manage some data ingestion to Sql
Server. Some users are choosing to forward me csv files via Microsoft Teams
and there really isn't a clean way to push the files out of that system,
was hoping the automator tool could help.

Any ideas?

Hey John!
yeah also have access to SSIS but the data that is being delivered is being
published to a Teams Channel, so I wanted to somehow get this out so I can
complete the process with SSIS. Since Automator (MS Flow) is part of that
whole crazy suite, I was thinking I could leverage it but it's kind of
convoluted, lots of steps and processes that I would never use.

Skype still works a charm. Everyone thinks "oh, that's old fashioned", lol! That just means it has more experience. I've been installing and supporting video conferencing this year more than I care too and have used many different tools to do it. Skype is cross platform, worked as well as any of them and better than most. Oh, for what it's worth, I hadn't used skype before this year either, I don't like video conferencing and rarely do I allow the video feed from my camera during these things.

Otherwise free Zoom with the Rocky touch, lol.

Having used Skype for work for a long time, it caused performance
issues for most users who need to present and record a session.
Sometimes just presenting a screen share that causes the issues. We
moved to Teams this year and we have had less audio, video or pc
problems using Teams.

No issues&nbsp;using Google Meets ;) lol. and our IT dept doesn't want
us using Zoom, though my wife and kids use it for all their school
stuff (but they have a paid version)

Having used Skype for work for a long time, it caused performance issues for most users who need to present and record a session.
Sometimes just presenting a screen share that causes the issues. We moved to Teams this year and we have had less audio, video or pc problems using Teams.

I was unable to uninstall Skype for Business. I uninstalled Skype thinking
to reinstall it, but I can't. Everything goes through the motions, but it

My pc has vertical and horizontal lines this morning. Rebooting does change things a bit, but it doesn't get rid of them. I've switched my main monitor so I can still work, but I'm down a screen, which is inconvenient. I'll live. ? 

Instead of buying a new pc, I'm wondering if there might be an easy fix -- maybe hardware circuitry or something? I have no idea what the insides of a pc look like and I don't know if it's even possible to switch out a "card" the way you can in a tower. At first, I thought I'd just run disc repair, but the other monitors are fine, so I don't think that will work. If it were a disc read problem, wouldn't I see the same lines on another monitor? 

So, my husband's pc shopping this morning, but I've told him not to buy anything yet. 

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. I haven't done any research yet -- I have too much word to do today to attend to it until later this afternoon.

First thing to check is if the monitor is flaky.  Either plug a monitor into this comp that you know works or plug this one into another comp.  If you rule out a problem with the monitor, then the next thing would be the video card.  That's an easy, relatively inexpensive fix, just swap out the card and you're good to go.

2) bad cable

Check the cable connection on both ends.  Perhaps a loose cable.

Try the monitor on a different computer or if you have two connections on

If you rule out a problem with the monitor, then the next thing would be the video card.  That's an easy, relatively inexpensive fix, just swap out the card and you're good to go.

My pc has vertical and horizontal lines this morning. Rebooting does change things a bit, but it doesn't get rid of them. I've switched my main monitor so I can still work, but I'm down a screen, which is inconvenient. I'll live. ? 

Instead of buying a new pc, I'm wondering if there might be an easy fix -- maybe hardware circuitry or something? I have no idea what the insides of a pc look like and I don't know if it's even possible to switch out a "card" the way you can in a tower. At first, I thought I'd just run disc repair, but the other monitors are fine, so I don't think that will work. If it were a disc read problem, wouldn't I see the same lines on another monitor? 

So, my husband's pc shopping this morning, but I've told him not to buy anything yet.

its only the laptop screen which is playing up, I would suggest its either
the cable connecting to the laptop worn or loose or screen on way out, both
relatively easy fixes or if got the money and excuse for a new one.

OK I understand.  Going to require some disassembly then.  Probably
repairable but the question would be the cost.  Just a diagnosis will cost
you probably $60 or more at a repair shop.  Could just be a $15 part to
repair it though.  I would search on the particular brand and model and see
what comes up.  I've repaired dead monitors on laptops before with parts
from EBAY after finding directions on YouTube on how to open the case and
such.  Every one is different.

It sounds like this is an "all in one" with the computer right inside of
the monitor?  Yea, not an easy fix I think.  Call dell or whoever makes it.

Just the tops of the key caps?  In which case alcohol and wait until it's
really dry because some alcohol will drip down into the KB.  

Accumulation of crumbs under the keys? Flip it over and shake.  Or go the
long way - pry the key caps off, clean out the debris with compressed air,
put them all back.

Best way - buy a new wireless KB - probably $20. 

Why do you want to clean a KB? Is it having a problem registering
keystrokes?

Hadn't done mine in while, so the other month prised all the keys off put
in bowl of luke warm water with a tiny bit of detergent, left them for a
few mins, picked each one out and gave a wipe and placed on kitchen towel,
while they were soaking tipped board upside down and gave a few taps, put
all the keys back on...

The only way I can think of is to create three calendars - I know Outlook
can do this because I had to automate separate calendars for an Access app
years ago. Will that get you close?  It could work for to-do lists because
they're usually tied to an action date or a deadline.

What is the source of the lists? Do the lists have to be logically connected
to the accounts?

The complicated way to do this might be to have code behind form, some VBA
which would open a to do list tracker db in Access.  Fun for me but not for
many.

I have three accounts and three inboxes. I found nothing to suggest how to
do it and I didn't find any kind of third-party product, but there might be
one. 

I keep the To-Do tasks open in Outlook all the time. But, I have different
tasks for different accounts. What would be really cool is one that's
all-encompassing, like the one I'm current using that's visible in the Today
window and then one that updates depending on the Inbox I'm working in in
the Mail window.

Simpler solution - combine all to-do tasks in the one list but prefix each
task with a letter of number identifying which account the task belongs to.
You'd also that way have a picture of all of today's tasks are an if you'll
be able to handle them all or have to move one or more to a later date.
Possible?

I used this yesterday and I could smack myself for making it so hard. ? I'm not even sorting, but seeing that prefix really clues me in quickly.

Simpler solution - combine all to-do tasks in the one list but prefix each task with a letter of number identifying which account the task belongs to.
You'd also that way have a picture of all of today's tasks are an if you'll be able to handle them all or have to move one or more to a later date.
Possible?
