Hi Susan and Charlotte > A .NET typed dataset is an in-memory representation of a remote database As far as I know, it doesn't have to be remote, it can be local as well, in fact it doesn't even have to "be" as you can create it on the fly (for temporary usage or to be written to, say, an XML file).
