Mark,

In fact I think 2.0 is now released.  I am using it as well to sync a local directory to an external 
hard drive.  It does work really well.

The links are for programming with the Sync framework, the same thing that MS used to build SyncToy, 
but from inside of your C# or VB.net apps.
