Hi everyone, Seth, I'm looking at connecting Oracle BE database OLE to some of our other computers. How can I install the Oracle OLE Db driver on their machines? Can we do this without installing Oracle client software... I can do it on mine and others where we've installed the client software. Right now it is giving me this error message for those machines. Error: Oracle client and networking components were not found....Provider is unable to function until these components are installed. Thanks, Paul Millard San Jose, CA post from Seth last year... -----Original Message----- From: Seth Galitzer [mailto:sgsax at ksu.edu] Sent: Friday, August 09, 2002 3:06 PM To: AccessD at databaseadvisors.com Subject: Re: [AccessD] slightly OT: Oracle and ADO One more small tidbit, you must have a current Oracel OLE DB driver installed. You don't need to have an ODBC DSN configured if you're just accessing the data in pure code.
