Very sorry to hear about your dog. My wife lost her cat to kidney
failure a few years ago and still doesn't want to get another pet. As an
additional warning, people can also get Lymes desease which, while not
usually fatal, can be extremely uncomfortable. There is also a vaccine
for humans.
Again, sorry to hear about you loss.
