[AccessD] Alter Table

MessageAndy, I really don't know what it doesn't work in 97 -- it's straight basic SQL and it isn't an extension, but I guess it's possible that ALTER COLUMN is new to the more recent version of SQL.

      Oh wait. It's an A97 problem. Works in A2K but not A97, which is pretty much all I use, so that's my excuse for my ignorance. Well, Tracy, hopefully Susan's solved it for you. As for BEU, mmmmm...........

      ============It should work in 97 too, you may just need a different VBA route -- try it via the SQL window.
