Joe,

You can go to this site by Candace Tripp:

http://www.candace-tripp.com/access_downloads.htm

When you get there, look for Windows Common Dialogs near the bottom of
the page.

I used this example a few years ago and it has worked fine. An
advantage to using API's is that even with OS upgrades and an upgrade
from A97 to AXP I didn't need to rewrite any code.

Good Luck!

Subject: [AccessD] Retrieve path to a file

Hello All,

How does anyone have any code examples that results in a dialog box
opening and allows that user to navigate to a specified file and return
the path to the file? I am pretty sure that it is possible to use
windows API calls for something like this, but I am not very
knowledgeable about using API calls.

Thanks!

Joe Rojas
