Seth, Thanks for your link and quick reply. One more thing...the odbc drivers are only 1 mb, however I need the Oracle Universal Installer (OUT) to install these drivers...Reading somes newsgroup messages about OUT on Google...people are saying that OUT is only packaged within their software bundle which is 180MB...YIKES! Do you happen to know about OUT and getting this driver installed without installing the works? Here's the URL you want to start from: http://otn.oracle.com/software/tech/windows/odbc/content.html As I mentioned in my original post, you don't need to create an ODBC DSN, you just need to have the drivers installed. Note that Oracle does require you to register with their website to download anything. I have not ever received spam from Oracle or anybody who looks like they may be one of their parteners. I think there's an opt-out checkbox on the registration page for this. Make sure you check or uncheck it properly to avoid spammage.
