Dear Arthur I am doing similar thing right now... converting the Access database backend to mysql with the front end still in Access XP. The problem i seem to have now is when my form is running some query which then show on the listbox..it take a real long time to show up... why is that so??what do i need to do to the mysql database after i have import them from Access?? Currently I am using myODBC for the linked table. Please advise.. He's going to upgrade the RAM in all boxes on the network to 384mb. So Win2000 should be OK. Thanks for your help. So this should be a good starting point.
