[AccessD] FE to BE updating

I don't know if this is of any help, but there is or was an issue with
adding records with autonumber.

I had corrupted tables when adding records in to a table togheter with
the autonumber field ID.
It will use the ID from the source table to put into the destination
autonumber field.
I don't believe this issue is solved in an SP.

Thats when you do a append * to *
Create a query with all field except the autonumber field.

John,

One append query goes to just one table...but...the main form feeds a
linked
table...and on save it uses the code:

docmd.GotoRecord , , acNewRec

...would that cause a problem...if multiple people were trying to goto a
new
record at the same time?

Thanks,

Mark
