John, I'm not quite sure what it is you're doing. In Outlook 2002, the way I have shared my calendar is to right-click on Calendar, choose properties, select the permissions tab, and add persons and set permissions as needed. To my knowledge, no email is sent for confirmation. This always worked before with Outlook 2000, but when I try and share with Outlook 2002, the 'ACCEPT" feature in the email sent for the confirmation is missing and it says Outlook has blocked an Active component. Checked around the web and couldn't find anything?
