In 2002 it's under Options-Edit/Find. Check the boxes to confirm or not confirm those actions. I think it was similar with 2000. I have an Access 2000 database that a potential client sent me to look at. I notice that when I open an object, e.g., report in design view, and change something in this database I am not asked if I want to save the changes when I close it. In all the other databases that I have developed on this machine I am given the option to save or not save when I close an object that I have fiddled with. I have looked to see if the db/tools/options settings are set differently but can not see where to set this behavior. Can anyone tell me if this can be set and where to do it? I like to have the option of saving or not saving changes as I will often experiment with changes and not want to make them permanent. Thanks in advance and have a Happy New Year.
