[AccessD] Bittin by Transaction Log Setting! - was (Pushing A2K Data to SQL2K - S-L-O-W!):

Thanks to all who responded to my previous post...

I hate to admit that I had the transaction log set to FULL in my Start-Up
DB!!!  Changing to SIMPLE for the migration reduced import time from 4 Hrs.
53 Mins. to a mere 26 Mins. [91 %] :-)))  (BTW - I wrote a quick script to
drop 7 of 8 indexes on the SQL table [8th index had a constraint] and shaved
off another 4 Mins. [16 %]).
