Drew, and for that matter anyone with a Dynamic IP, you can get a domain name assigned to your system by visiting www.no-ip.com I've been using them for a while now with out a problem, of course my IP although dynamic, has not changed in over 2+ months. They also provide a client utility that updates the domain name with your current IP on a schedule that you choose. Of the whole time that I've been using them the only problem was when the SQL-Worm was affecting everyone, other than that, no problems. -Francisco http://rcm.netfirms.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Drew Wutka" <DWUTKA at marlow.com> To: <accessd at databaseadvisors.com> Sent: Saturday, February 01, 2003 2:57 PM Subject: [AccessD] Archive Update! Yippie!!!! : My DSL is backup!!! Hip hip horray! : : Okay, trick is I have a new IP address now too. My domain isn't registered : to my home machine, because I don't have a mail server setup at home. : http://www.wolfwares.com will route to my home machine, but /AccessD won't. : I'll probably have that fixed in the near future. So either goto to : wolfwares.com, click resources, and the AccessD archives are there, or use : this http://207.13.30.36/AccessD : : I may still be moving in a week or two, so it may be temporarily interrupted : again, but hopefully not for so long. : : By the way, I made a slight change in the .dll that pulls the archives up. : It now strips email addresses from the posts. I tossed that in there after : the rash of spam posts on the List! : : Drew
