Now, whenever I try to use the file find dialog, and pull down the combo at the top to navigate to something, Windows apparently goes out to assemble a list of drives to throw in the combo. It has to time out for the mapped drive that is missing. I want to set that timeout to something like 2 seconds instead of the 5 (or 10!) that it currently set to. John W.
