Mark,

If you want to send the report instead of the data, then don't use
Excel. Send the report as either .pdf or .snp.

The point of this process is to eliminate all user interaction with the
formatting of the report.

The user clicks a button, which automatically exports the formatted
report to Excel. Then, the report is emailed to the appropriate client.

How can I only export the record source, without having the user
interact with Excel to format the data? Have a pre-designed report
template?

Mark,

Instead of trying to export the report, export the report's record
source.

Subject: [AccessD] Export to Excel

We are having an issue with exporting data from an Access report to an
Excel spreadsheet.

It seems that whenever there are calculated fields such as report
totals, the data doesn't display properly after exporting.

Also, some fields are moved way to the right, while others are way left.

Does anyone know of 3rd party software that will export an Access report
to Excel as clean as possible?

Thanks,
