The easy route - as a start - is to record a macro and then study what
it has carried out.

Then adjust and refine as needed.

The final part will be to exchange all the clumsy and slow "selecting"
code with code that defines ranges you then manipulate.

There is a learning curve, but it can be quite fun as you can do so
many things in Excel.
