But you can set CanGrow and CanShrink for textboxes in Page
headers.

You can't set CanGrow and CanShrink for Page headers,
only for the Report Header and for group headers.

			I guess I misunderstood.

I can set the field properties, but not the page
header properties.

Doesn't the section's CanGrow and CanShrink
properties need to be set in order to affect the fields' CanGrow and
CanShrink properties?

The property exists in my copy of Access 2000
for fields in the Page Header.

				Susan -

What version of Access are you using?

				This project uses Access2000.

I have a report with the same type of
controls in the page header. I get a CanShrink proterty for the
control.

				Brett -

The problem with that is the fields are
in the page header ... no CanShrink property there.

				Thanks,

				Mark

Assuming that each field is in a
separate TextBox, all you need to do is set the Report section and
TextBox CanShrink property to True. Access will take care of the rest
for you!

				Subject: [AccessD] Removing blank line
from a report

I have a report that is formatted like a
business letter.

In the address section (which is in the
page header), I have the following 4 fields:

				[BillingName]

				[Addr1]

				[Addr2]

				[CityStZip]

How can I force the [CityStZip] up a
line when [Addr2] is blank?

Most of the addresses look like this:

				John Smith

				123 Main St.

				City, St 12345

I tried setting the CanShrink property
of [Addr2] to 'Yes', but this doesn't work.

				Any ideas?
